It was okay, easy to begin to like both of the MC's. Dimitri had motives deeper than they appeared in at first glance in the beginning of the story. Ariel made me roll my eyes several times, naive is one thing but at times her common sense was lacking too. The book did start with action right out of the box, which I do like. However, there were several times where her actions seemed to make no sense to me. Like in the early chapter when the doctor showed up in the room with Dimitri and Ariel. Her actions in that room seemed wildly out of character to me. Stunning, unusual but I had a hard time with that.This is a stand alone novel I think, but there are more adventures open for them if you want to continue on with them. The romance and tenderness between them was sweet.

I received this book as an ARC for an honest review. *A spoiler from the first book if you have not read it*
When I first started this book I was a little confused if you have read the first book in this series you will remember that Vitaly took out his employer at the end of the book. In this book Dimitri Loginovsky is part of this organized crime family but he is part of the Russian Sect. Dimi knows that his brother will kill Ariel Cole after he has gotten what he wants from her which is her father. Dimi is attracted to Ariel the first moment he sees her picture and knows he will do anything to keep her safe. Roman is sure this is a bad idea but wants to give his brother a chance to prove himself. When Roman sees Dimi and Ariel together he knows what he must do and Dimi does as well. Dimi knows they must run it will be the only way to keep her safe. Roman doesn't want to hurt his brother but knows this can not end in a good way for him.
Ariel wakes up in Russia not knowing where she is or how she got there last thing she remembers is drinking with friends. Now she is not only in a foreign country she is also married to a man she knows nothing about. Ariel doesn't know what it is about Dimi but she knows she feels something when he is around and that could be a very dangerous thing to her. All she wants is to get home and forget that this ever happened but that isn't happening any time soon.
This book is full of twist and turns but I would recommend it to anyone and everyone. You will be hooked from the beginning to the end.
Ariel, a lovely virginal American, wakes up in Moscow, wrapped in the arms of a very sexy tattooed Russian and quickly realizes that he's not just her new husband, he's also her captor. There's more to this than meets the eye, and new husband Dimitri is hiding something.
This is book two in the "Russian Enforcers Series," and I think it's better than the first. Dimitri and Ariel are good together, and the writing keeps you reading straight through to the cliffhanger at the end. It's light and funny in parts, particularly in the beginning with Ariel's escape attempts and the cute verbal sparring with Dimitri. Loved the Putin statue part.
Author Nic Saint fixed some of the first book's problems. Ariel makes a few bad moves but, overall, she isn't Too Stupid To Live. Dimitri doesn't fawn all over Ariel, but I wish the author's heroes would stop being so deferential to the heroines and get some steel in their spines. They need to get OUT of touch with their feelings and quit worrying so much about upsetting their women.
As with the first book, the heroine's voice rings a bit false at times. Ariel was too blasé about what was really going on. I think her attitude is partially due to the lighter nature of the book. It isn't a dark romance, so don't expect dangerous and twisted in this forced marriage romance.
Enjoy it and don't look too closely at the details.

Really enjoyed the book about two brothers in the Mob and a love story don't want to give to much away you need to read the book I know you will enjoy it also. Margie
I like the development of characters...I felt she gave in too quickly but I am liking the story line. I liked the parallel story of both roman and his brother...interested to see more ;)
I enjoyed this book. Ariel wakes up after having been drugged. Finds that she has been kidnapped and married to Dmitri. The Russian mob wants to use her as bait for her father. But, Dmitri has feelings for our Ariel, and they end up falling for each other. It's a really good book.
Different tale of Russian mob activity. Dimitri and Ariel are smokin' hot and there is action, mystery, suspense and surprises. Deeply thought filled characters, sexy hero and interesting story and plot development make this worthwhile. Ariel wakes up married to Dimitri and is in Russia. How did that happen? She's not too happy, but survival kicks in and to get back to the states, she cooperates. Wonderful mystery, and hot sexiness with Ariel and Dimi. His brother Roman has hints of his story, but maybe we see that in another part of the series. ENJOY !!!
