I have to say, I love these samplers! I wish there were more out there to gobble up! While Amazon will send you a sample chapter or a select number of pages to read on your Kindle, I have found that is not enough to whet my appetite. But, these Samplers give you at least the first 5 chapters, which I have found have set me out running and looking for the rest of the book.I have not got to all of these yet, but "Under the Never Sky" is a must read! (There is an amazing book trailer for it on Facebook!) The tale was compelling and the world (a future dystopia) has a lot of great imagery and really makes you reflect on where society might be heading someday. It merges a nice dose of Fantasy in with the dystopian plot, also. While there may be similarities to "The Hunger Games," I would consider it to be its own story.
I just purchased "Everneath" after reading this sample. It is difficult to compare it against anything else I have read because it is focusing on an adaptation of the Persephone myth, where Hades had lured and tricked his future queen into the Underworld. While there are allusions to that myth, this story is about a girl who goes down there for 100 years (only 6 months have passed in the regular world though). There is a lot of mystery and intrigue so far, and I am just not sure where this story is going, which is great since so many things have become predictable.
"Hallowed" is book #2 of its trilogy. I loved the first book, so I was already to read its sequel. The only problem is that it was a year ago since I read the first book, and the sample/first part of the book made it a little difficult to remember what happened in Book #1. So, this and a few others in this sample are sequels: Pandemonium, The Last Echo, and Magic of the Moonlight.
I will say that I read "Delirium" (Book #1 to Pandemonium) from another sample and am now hooked on that series, and I have read Ellen Schrieber before, so I am sure I will enjoy her sample when I get to it, too.

this was not my cup of tea , will stick to my older writers . i feel even in you are writing for a teen you should have somthing to send chills or make you think
I really liked this sampler and will for sure be looking into some of the full books! So glad I got this.
I have to say, I love these samplers! I wish there were more out there to gobble up!
